In contrast to the Reno wedding chapels, The Chism House provides an elegant, unique manor house and grounds to make your event unforgettable! Weddings, receptions, family reunions, anniversary parties, even your Christmas party would be perfect at The Chism House!

The Chism House, which is located across from the Truckee River, has been restored to Victorian Elegance with pond, fountain, lush grounds and three fireplaces to keep you cozy during the winter. Ceremonies and receptions during winter can accommodate up to 35 people. The ceremony takes place in front of the large marble fireplace in the parlor with the reception to follow in the dining room with its fabulous view of the pond and grounds.

Summer garden weddings can accommodate up to 175 people with ceremonies taking place by the arbor next to the beautiful, large pond. Receptions follow under the open pergola with the paver deck.
