The Chism House in Reno - Wedding Receptions and Ceremonies
Frequently Asked Questions...

I’m in the area right now, can I come by and take a look?
Sorry, we don’t offer impromptu tours or schedule an open house for just one person. The Chism House is a private estate and shown by appointment only for 2011 brides and by open house for 2012 brides.  Appointments are usually available Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, no Monday appointments are available.
Can I just drive by the Chism House and see it from the outside?
Out of respect to the owners and the on-going events privacy, we do not allow anyone to stop or drive up without an appointment.
Can I bring over my family or one of my vendors to see the property?
To protect the privacy of the owners and the events that may be happening, we don’t allow anyone on the property without an appointment.  You may call at 775-322-5455 to schedule an appointment.
Can I come early to my event, I may need more time to do setup?
On your contract it states how much time you have for you AND your vendors to do everything, this includes decorating, caterers and anyone else that needs to spend time at the house.  Some vendors may be able to do a drop off earlier, have them call to setup arrangements, no one else is allowed to come early!
Will anyone be able to answer my questions and do my booking at my appointment?
We usually allow half an hour for appointments, we show you photos of other weddings, and show you around the house and grounds. We also answer any questions you may have.  If you would like to book at that time you may do so.
